Born in Kiev,
Ukraine, saxophonist ARKADY [
hear pronunciation ] resides in New York City, where he keeps a busy schedule
-- performing, recording, producing, composing, arranging,
and teaching.
Arkady's music education began in Ukraine, Glier
Music College, and continued in the USA, at the Manhattan
School of Music, where he received a Master of Music Degree,
on a full scholarship, and won The
Andrew Goodman Prize for Best Clarinetist. He was also
a member of the New
York Youth Symphony.
Arkady's
career covers
many diverse areas of the New York City music scene, plus touring: USA, including Hawaii and
Puerto Rico, Canada, England,
France, Switzerland, Belgium, Ukraine, Israel, Japan, etc.
